IMPORTANT: NEET UG is mandatory for MBBS and NEET PG is mandatory for MD/MS admissions. No exceptions. | Candidates must meet both the academic percentage requirements and the NEET percentile cutoffs set by NTA/NBEMS.

2. What is the minimum age for MBBS admission? ▼
17 years as on December 31 of the admission year. There is no upper age limit.
3. Can a candidate with Biology as additional subject apply? ▼
Yes, provided Biology/Biotechnology was studied in 10+2 and the minimum PCB percentage is met.
4. Is internship completion mandatory before NEET PG? ▼
No. You can appear for NEET PG before internship completion, but you must complete it by the stipulated date for admission.
5. What documents prove eligibility for MBBS admission? ▼
10+2 marksheet, NEET UG admit card and rank card, DOB certificate, category certificate, and domicile certificate.
6. Can candidates from other states apply for MBBS at GIMSH? ▼
Yes, for Management Quota seats. State Quota requires WB domicile as per WBMCC norms.
7. What is the minimum NEET PG score for MD/MS at GIMSH? ▼
Minimum qualifying percentile: 50th (General/EWS). Actual admission depends on rank and seat availability.
