NMC Approved | WBUHS Affiliated | No. 1 Ranked Private Medical College in Eastern India | 200 MBBS Seats
Gaining admission to the MBBS program at Gouri Devi Institute of Medical Sciences & Hospital (GIMSH) is a structured, transparent process governed by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and the West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC). GIMSH does not conduct any separate entrance examination for MBBS admission. All admissions are based exclusively on the candidate's NEET UG score and the centralized counseling process administered by WBMCC.
GIMSH offers 200 MBBS seats per year, distributed across State Quota, Management Quota, and NRI Quota categories. The college is affiliated with the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC), ensuring that the MBBS degree awarded is recognized across India and internationally.
GIMSH does not engage any agents, brokers, or third parties for MBBS admissions. Candidates and parents are strongly advised not to deal with any unauthorized persons claiming to facilitate admission. The college will not be responsible for any payment made through unauthorized channels.
GIMSH's 200 MBBS seats are distributed across three quota categories as mandated by the West Bengal government and NMC. Understanding these categories is essential for planning your admission strategy.
