A thorough knowledge of Microbiology gives students a foundation in the diagnosis and management of disease.Microbiology is a subject which is ever expanding includes various branches like Bacteriology, Immunology, Virology, Parasitology and Mycology.
Curriculum: MBBS students are given a solid foundation of contagious diseases so that they understand the etiology, mode of spread, Pathogenesis, laboratory diagnosis, treatment control and prevention of infections. Regular assessments ensure their progress in course work.
