Forensic medicine involves applying the knowledge of modern medicine to aid law and justice. Here, students are taught how to apply their knowledge of the various sciences to the human body.

Teaching programmes contain didactic lectures, tutorials, practical training and problem based learning. Students will be introduced autopsy during their exposure in the department.
